Austria: AIFS Global Education Center, Salzburg

Spend a semester or academic year in the elegant, charming city of Salzburg, Austria, with AIFS Abroad! Choose from a variety of course options with credit awarded by Fairfield University. Salzburg is the ideal location for students who love the outdoors. From Salzburg you can easily reach the mountains, meadows and lakes of the Austrian Alps.

Where You'll Study

Students can expect small class sizes, support and interaction with the local community. They will be engaged in experiential and community activities that will ensure they stay out of the “study abroad bubble.” Academic credit for the AIFS Abroad Salzburg program is awarded by Fairfield University. Students will take classes at the study center and during their free time can relax in the student lounge area or work in the study room. They can meet with the AIFS Resident Director here for information and advice relating to the program, adapting to life in Salzburg and travel information.

Climate Action Network for International Educators (CANIE).
Focused on making education abroad carbon neutral, we include
carbon offsets for all participants' return flights, environmental
education connecting students on the ground to environmental
